UNICEF is collaborating with the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development to introduce the YOMA platform to young people in Semonkong. The outreach is part of the Ministry's Youth Market Day, officially launched by Deputy Principal Secretary Mr. Thae Makhele.

The two-day interactive initiative aims to familiarize youth, particularly from herder communities and other marginalized groups, with the opportunities offered by YOMA. The platform provides accessible pathways for learning, skills development, and livelihood opportunities that are often out of reach for young people in remote areas.

Through digital learning, work-readiness activities, and personal development tools, YOMA seeks to bridge gaps in access to formal training and employment networks. The program strengthens youth capacity and supports efforts to promote inclusive economic participation among communities with limited exposure to such opportunities.
