The United Nations Development Programme UNDP Liberia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with Orange Liberia to establish a new Digital Center aimed at advancing digital inclusion and innovation across the country. The partnership represents a major step forward in promoting access to technology, digital skills development, and entrepreneurship, particularly among youth and rural communities.
Through this collaboration, UNDP and Orange Liberia will work together to enhance digital literacy, support the growth of startups, and expand opportunities for communities that have historically been left behind in the digital transformation. The Digital Center will serve as a platform to provide training, mentorship, and resources to empower Liberians to participate in the digital economy.
The initiative aligns with Liberia's broader efforts to strengthen its digital infrastructure and promote inclusive growth through technology. By combining Orange Liberia's connectivity expertise with UNDP's development experience, the partnership aims to build a more connected, innovative, and inclusive digital ecosystem that supports social and economic advancement across the country.
