Two suspects are expected to appear in the Christiana Magistrates Court in the North West on Monday after they allegedly stabbed to death a police sergeant at a local tavern.
Provincial Police Spokesperson, Adele Myburgh, says the 47-year-old police official was involved in a verbal altercation with two other men when one stabbed him with a sharp object.
He was taken to a local clinic where he was declared dead on arrival.
