Two people have sustained minor injuries in a light aircraft crash on a farm at Thembalethu near George in the Western Cape.
They are currently in the hospital receiving treatment while a forensic team is on the scene investigating the crash site.
Eyewitness, Thembelani Masibhunge says, I thought it wanted to land, but surprisingly it was banking side to side. It came from the direction of the ocean and made a turn towards the crash site. Past those farms, it was flying low and thats when I lost sight of it for a moment. It then crashed into the fence where I am standing and skidded a few meters before making a left turn. Thats when it came to a stop near the kraal.
