The Istanbul public prosecutor's office has ordered the arrest of 46 people including 29 footballers, as part of an investigation into illegal betting on Turkish matches.
At least 27 of the players have been accused of betting on games involving their own teams, in which they also played.
The Turkish Football Federation, TFF, also confirmed that bans between eight and 12 months have been imposed on several officials implicated in the ongoing betting scandal by its disciplinary committee.
