Tunisia becomes the first African nation to host the MEDUSA cable - a strategic infrastructure project backed by the European Union and the European Investment Bank under the Global Gateway initiative.
Developed by AFR-IX Telecom, the MEDUSA cable spans 1,040 kilometers and offers a capacity of 24 Tbps, directly linking Tunisia to Marseille and the wider Mediterranean network. This development positions Tunisia as an emerging digital hub in the Mediterranean region.
