The City of Tshwane has warned commuters of disruptions to bus services due to ongoing fuel supply challenges. The metro says all Tshwane Bus Service depots have run out of fuel, resulting in a reduced number of buses on the road and disruptions to scheduled trips.
Sixty-five out of 155 planned shifts were able to operate from Monday, with the city warning that services could be further affected if fuel supplies are not restored in time.
Executive Mayor of Tshwane, Dr Nasiphi Moya, says contingency measures are being considered to manage the impact.
