Alexander Isak could unilaterally terminate his contract with Newcastle United in a bid to force a move to Liverpool.
According to the UK Mirror, it is the nuclear option Isak could consider.
The Swedish striker did not travel with the rest of his team-mates for their preseason tour of Asia, with the Magpies initially claiming it was due to an injury.
However, it has now become clear that Isaks absence is down to his determination to engineer a move to Anfield.
Newcastle are believed to want a stunning 150m transfer fee for their talisman.
