A 41-year-old cyclist has tragically lost their life after being struck by a vehicle on Victoria Road, near Glen Beach, in Camps Bay early Tuesday morning, reports Cape town Etc .
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after the incident occurred at approximately 7am, where medical personnel declared the cyclist deceased on arrival.
According to Ward 54 Councillor Nicola Jowell, the accident also resulted in injuries to a second individual, who has since been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
