The Road Traffic Management Corporation RTMC has warned that it will dismiss traffic officials found to be taking bribes over this coming Easter travel period.
High traffic volumes are expected on all major roads across the country from Thursday.
RTMC Spokesperson Simon Zwane says CEO Makhosini Msibi has also called on traffic officers to make a difference in the country by reducing the number of vehicle road fatalities.
