A shocking act of violence unfolded on Christmas night in Nyanga, where gunfire claimed the lives of three individuals and critically injured a fourth, Cape town Etc reports.
This tragic incident occurred late on the evening of Wednesday, 25 December 2025, at a residence located on Mplangeni Street in the Ofcon Hostel area.
According to Colonel Andre Traut, spokesperson for the South African Police Service SAPS in the Western Cape, the chaos erupted around 10pm when two unidentified assailants reportedly entered a single-room dwelling and unleashed a barrage of bullets on the unsuspecting occupants.
