Showmax has revealed that a South African adaptation of global comedy format The Office , licensed by BBC Studios, will premiere in January 2026 as Die Kantoor .
The new series is being filmed primarily in Afrikaans, the African streamer said in a statement on Monday 24 November.
Die Kantoor to premiere in JanuarykykNET will preview the first episode of Die Kantoor at 20:00 on Sunday, 18 January 2026, ahead of the Showmax double bill premiere on Tuesday, 20 January.
