Richa Ghoshhas revealed the batting aspects she worked on ahead of the Women's World Cup 2025. She finished with 235 runs in eight matches at a strike rate of 133.52. Richa underscored that her main objective was to spend longer periods in the middle and focusing more on playing grounded shots and rotating the strike.
The wicketkeeper-batter, who was a crucial component of India's maiden Women's World Cup triumph, noted that she kept a goal of playing aggressively which would in turn applied pressure on the opposition.
Richa's highest score in the tournament 94 off 77 came against South Africa during the group stage. Her knock comprised 11 fours and four sixes. However, it came in a losing cause as Nadine de Klerk's unbeaten 84 off 54 took the Proteas over the line by three wickets and seven balls to spare.
