OGC Nice have pulled out of a proposed deal for Ghanaian forward Ransford Konigsdorffer due to medical concerns after drawing a direct link to their experience with Nigerian striker Terem Moffi .
The move for Konigsdorffer, who was on the brink of joining from Hamburger SV, collapsed at the final hurdle after medical checks flagged a potential issue with his left knee.
The 23-year-old was expected to complete a switch to the French Riviera side, but the club withdrew late in the process, citing caution.
This decision is understood to have been heavily influenced by Nice's ill-fated handling of Moffi's transfer, according to German news outlet Sport.
