Bayer Leverkusen gaffer Erik Ten Hag is weighing up whether to reunite with free agent Victor Lindelof ahead of the new season.

The Bundesliga champions value the 31-year-old's experience, leadership and composure, seeing him as a potential asset to bolster their backline ahead of a busy campaign. Lindelof, capped over 60 times by Sweden, spent seven seasons at Old Trafford, where he worked closely with Erik ten Hag during the Dutchman's tenure.
