The TEARS Animal Rescue in Sunnydale narrowly escaped a catastrophic disaster as a fire broke out on an adjoining property in the early hours of Thursday morning, reports Cape town Etc.
The flames ravaged several of the organisations Wendy houses, wooden walling, and inflicted considerable damage to the kennels, but fortunately, no animals or humans were harmed.
The blaze ignited around 5am in an area where shipping containers and cars were parked overnight, prompting TEARS Operations Manager, Mandy Store, to rush into action.
