Takealot is set to launch its annual MVP Days sale, a five-day promotional event running in July, exclusively for TakealotMORE subscribers.
BusinessTech reports that the mid-year campaign offers members-only discounts, bonus coupons and limited-time deals across Takealot and Mr D, the group's food delivery platform. The promotion mirrors a typical Black Friday but with a winter spin.
TakealotMORE , the group's subscription programme, launched in 2024 and is priced at R99 per month. Members receive free deliveries, unlimited Mr D restaurant and Pick n Pay grocery deliveries, early access to sales and a digital subscription to News24 .
New users can sign up for a free one-month trial to access the MVP Days offers. In a recent media release, Takealot shared some of the more unusual purchase patterns observed among its subscribers.
On average, TakealotMORE users placed five orders per day.
