The state in the Senzo Meyiwa trial is expected to focus on the alleged role of one of the accused in killing the former Bafana Bafana captain.
On Thursday, the state prosecutor George Baloyi highlighted the high frequency of prepaid airtime that Muzi Sibiya has bought around the time Meyiwa was killed. This had led the state to believe he was using a different phone to communicate.
Meyiwa was shot and killed in October 2014 in Vosloorus, Gauteng. Sibiya is one of the five accused that are currently on trial in the High Court in Pretoria.
