With Speed Classic Cape Town set to bring high-octane hillclimb action to Philip Kgosana Drive this weekend, spectators and residents are urged to take note of the upcoming road closures, traffic plan and parking arrangements, Cape town Etc reports.
Speed Classic Cape Town will be hosted on a closed-off Philip Kgosana Drive inbound and outbound on 25 and 26 October. It will begin with the Classic Car race on Saturday before the supercars and modern speed machines hit the track on Sunday for the King of the Mountain showdown on the 1.8km course.
Road closures Philip Kgosana Drive will be closed to outbound traffic from 7pm to 5am, Sunday 19 October to Wednesday 22 October. Inbound lanes will remain open throughout, and outbound traffic will operate as normal outside these hours.
