Following decades of restoration, theremains of theRoman Temple of Crdobahave reopened to the public.
The temple was closedtothe public in the 1960s, reports The Olive Press . The site now features stairs and ramps that lead to a viewing platform to see the temples inner sanctuary and the remains of its altar.
For the first three months, guided tours willnowbe offered twice daily from Monday to Fridayand three times a day on weekends and public holidays.Each tour is limited to thirty participants and can be booked on the Delegation of Culture and Historical Heritage website .
From September, the City Council plans to introduce a reservation system that will offer bookings for itineraries that will include the temple, the Patios de Crdoba Interpretation Centre on Calle Trueque, the Puerta Gallegos Mausoleums and the Puerta del Puente.
