South Africa is set to enter Continuous Dialogue with the International Olympics Committee IOC, the second major step in its bid to host the 2036 or 2040 Olympic Games.
This follows a meeting between Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie and the IOC in November 2024 which constituted the first Informal Exchange step.
