South Africa has named a 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against Australia, set to be held at Lord's in London from 11 to 15 June, head coach Shukri Conrad confirmed on Tuesday.

The Proteas earned their place in the final after an impressive campaign, winning eight out of their 12 matches in the championship cycle, including a dominant run of seven consecutive victories.

The squad is scheduled to gather in England on May 31, in preparation for a four-day warm-up match against Zimbabwe at Arundel, which will take place from June 3-6.

Temba Bavuma will lead the side, which features a blend of experienced players and promising newcomers. Notably, wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne returns to the squad, while all-rounder Marco Jansen and pacemen Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi are also included.

The final offers South Africa a chance to win their first major ICC title in Test cricket, with a formidable Australian side standing in their way at the iconic Lord's ground.
