Six-time UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman ahead of a possible transfer this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Lookman had an impressive campaign with Atalanta last season. The Super Eagles forward registered 17 goals and ten assists in 45 appearance for La Dea last season. However, the whole Europe actually took notice of him in the final of the UEFA Europa League, when he scored a hattrick for Atalanta to help them defeat Bayer Leverkusen.
Following his brilliant performances for Atalanta, there have been talks that Lookman could exit the team, amid interest from the Premier League. However, nothing concrete has come from those talks.
Meanwhile, transfer expert Florian Plettigoal has revealed that Lookmans name has been mentioned at Bayern Munich in view of a potential transfer, but the club have not made a move for him yet.
The former German champions are looking to rebuild after a dismal season with Thomas Tuchel as coach. And Lookman could be a decent option on the left side of their attack. He is also valued at around €40 million, which is a decent price for Bayern Munich.
