The Special Investigating Unit SIU has taken decisive action in its ongoing battle against corruption by obtaining a preservation order to freeze a residential property associated with the late actor Presley Chweneyagae.
This order, granted by Judge M Victor on 18 December 2025, involves Chweneyagae's spouse, Charlaine Christinah Chweneyagae, and various co-respondents implicated in a high-profile corruption case surrounding the National Lotteries Commission NLC.
In a move reflective of its commitment to restoring the states financial integrity, the preservation order targets a home located in Hesteapark, Pretoria.
