Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner for Crime Detection, Lt-General Shadrack Sibiya, has placed it on the record in Parliament today that he played no role in the alleged contamination of the murder scene of the late Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
Sibiya was back in Parliament to continue with his version of events to the Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
MPs probed him on his role in the disbanding of the Political Killings Task Team, his alleged relationships with controversial figures as well as his alleged involvement in political interference in the South African Police Service.
