Avani Barbarons Seychelles Resort has introduced free-diving packages in partnership with Sophie Walsh , Seychelles first certified free-diving instructor and a national record holder. Walsh is also the founder of Freediving Seychelles.
The new packages include introductory pool sessions and open-ocean dives. A highlight is a full-day boat excursion to Beau Vallon with dives at Baie Ternay Marine Park and Lilot Island. Small groups will receive equipment, training and the option to earn an internationally recognised AIDA Level 1 Certificate. Courses for children from the age of seven are also available, combining water safety with underwater games and the Dolphin Freediving Certificate.
