The South African Weather Service has issued an Orange Level 9 and 6 severe weather warning for Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng on Tuesday. Flooding of roads, mudslides and rock falls are expected.
In Limpopo, heavy rains have resulted in the sighting of stray animals in some parts of Malamulele. They include crocodiles in the residential areas of Makuleke and Mhinga outside Malamulele.
The reptiles are suspected to have escaped from the dams and rivers which are overflowing following the heavy rains.
