Semantic Layer has secured 5 million in a Series A funding round. The lead investor is Greenfield Capital. The funds will advance the firms mission in on-chain artificial intelligence, decentralised applications, and asset ordering sovereignty.
This round builds on the companys earlier seed raise of 3 million, led by Figment Capital. That earlier round enabled the development of its core sequencing infrastructure for decentralised apps. Now the Series A will amplify that work and broaden market reach.
The raised capital will be used to develop automation systems that run directly on-chain. Semantic Layer plans to enable digital agents to act with autonomy in blockchain networks. It also intends to empower apps and assets with greater sovereignty in how transactions are ordered and settled.
