The South African National Taxi Council Santaco in Gauteng has called for stronger law enforcement to curb the escalating violence in the taxi industry.
A memorial service for slain Alexandra Taxi Association Chairperson Vusi Mayaba is being held in Johannesburg.
Mayaba was shot and killed in Woodmead, north of Johannesburg on Thursday last week.
