Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was named among the substitutes for the clubs Premier League clash with Brighton at Anfield on Saturday, following discussions between the forward and head coach Arne Slot.
The Dutch manager had stressed that the final decision on Salah's involvement would rest with him after internal talks earlier in the day.
Slot had previously left the Egypt international out of the squad for Liverpool's midweek Champions League victory away to Inter Milan, a move that followed strong public comments from the player about his treatment by the club.
