Ticket sales for the Bafana Bafanas highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria opened on Saturday, 2 August 2025.
In a statement on Friday 1 August, the South African Football Association SAFA announced that the game will be played at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
The match date is Tuesday, 9 September 2025, with kick-off slated for 18:00.
Ticket information for Bafana Bafana vs NigeriaAccording to SAFA , ticket sales for the South Africa vs Super Eagles showdown will open in three phases. In Phase One, prices start from R70.00 for adults and R40.00 for children under 12 years old.
Phase One is available only at the Free State Stadium from Saturday, 2 August 2025 as follows:
- Saturday: 08:00 - 14:00
- Sunday: 09:00 - 14:00
- Daily: 08:30 - 16:30
Phase Two sales will start nationally on Saturday, 9 August 2025 at all Ticketpro Outlets at R100.00
Phase Three will open on Saturday, 16 August 2025 at R150.00 for the Grand Stand area. This will include Spar, SuperSpar, Postnet, and the Shell, BP and SASOL garages, among others, SAFA said.
This phased approach gives local fans in Bloemfontein and surrounding areas the opportunity to buy the tickets first - and at a more affordable price.
Just days before their Nigeria matchup, coach Hugo Broos charges will play Lesotho at the same stadium on Friday, 5 September 2025, although it will be an away game. Kick-off is also at 18h00 for this World Cup qualifier.
The Lesotho Football Association told SAFA that they will communicate details around tickets at a later stage, the Association said.
