Southern African Development Community SADCs Deputy Executive Secretary responsible for Regional Integration, Angele Makombo Ntumba, has conceded that in the last 40 years, SADC could have achieved more. But due to pragmatic challenges facing the African continent, time has passed quickly.

Ntumba spoke to the SABC at the launch of the SADC Awareness and Visibility Strategy for 2025 to 2030, which aims to enhance its message to the people of its member states. She says the inter-governmental organisation will strive to improve communication about its role, achievements and setbacks to member states.

SADC rolls out a refreshed 2025-2030 visibility strategy to strengthen communication and build wider public understanding of the organisation.
