ANC National Chairperson Gwede Mantashe says the South African Communist Party SACP is putting itself at risk by contesting elections independently.
He was reacting to the SACPs decision of going it alone in the 2026 local elections.
The SACP has been saying its decision was prompted by the ANCs refusal to reconfigure the alliance in over 22 years.
