Ruben Amorim has left his role as Manchester United manager with immediate effect and former player Darren Fletcher will serve in interim capacity, Softfootball reports.
The Portuguese led Manchester United to a 1-1 draw against Leeds United in his final match as manager of the club. After a goalless first half, Brenden Aaronson gave the home side the lead but summer signing Matheus Cunha equalised for Manchester United.
It is obviously that this action was not planned before now because just yesterday, Amorim was expecting Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount to return ahead of the Burnley Match on Wednesday.
