To accommodate the influx of supporters, RAM plans to add 660 additional flights during the competition period, representing a significant 50 increase in its capacity.
Tournament Details
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, will be the 35th edition of this prestigious biennial tournament. Morocco will host the event for the second time, following the 1988 edition. Twenty-four teams will participate, divided into six groups, with the top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams advancing to the knockout stage.
Host Cities and Stadiums
Some iconic stadiums expected to host matches include the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, a historic venue that hosted the 1988 AFCON final. Other stadiums include the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, currently undergoing expansion, the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier, set to host some of the tournaments biggest matches, the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, known for its stunning location and modern facilities, the Marrakech Stadium, a popular venue with fans, and the Fez Stadium, a more traditional setting.
RAMs Flight Plan
The additional flights will be scheduled according to match schedules to facilitate supporters access to host cities. Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca will serve as a strategic hub, connecting African, European, and transatlantic routes. RAM will also offer integrated packages designed for the African diaspora and supporters in transit. These packages will include airplane tickets to travel to Morocco and attend matches, accommodation for supporters who wish to stay in Morocco during the competition, and match tickets to attend AFCON 2025 matches.
Broadcasting and Tickets
The tournament will be broadcast in over 90 countries worldwide. Broadcasting rights holders include beIN SPORTS and FuboTV in the USA, beIN SPORTS Canada, Sky Sports in the UK, SuperSport DStv, Canal Afrique, and local broadcasters in Africa, and Optus Sport in Australia. With this plan, RAM aims to provide a seamless travel experience for supporters attending the continental showpiece, solidifying its position as a leading airline in Africa.
