Former Manchester United star, Wayne Rooney, has said that his former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, will not retire from football until he reaches the historic milestone of 1,000 career goals.
According to him, the 40-year-old Portuguese would only consider retirement after achieving that feat.
The Portugal international is currently on 950 goals as he closes in on the milestone. He presently plays for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr and has not retired from the Portugal national team.
