Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time leading goalscorer in World Cup qualifying history at the age of 40 after scoring twice against Hungary on Tuesday.
Ronaldo netted his 40th and 41st qualifying goals, surpassing retired Guatemalan striker Carlos Ruiz, who scored 39 between 1998 and 2016.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner drew Portugal level in the 22nd minute, finishing from Nelson Semedo's cross. He added a second before half-time, converting a pass from Nuno Mendes to give Portugal a 2-1 lead at the break.
