The Florida Panthers became Stanley Cup champions for the second straight year Tuesday night after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1, and their championship parade has been tentatively set for this weekend.

According to the South Florida Sun Sentinel , Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis confirmed to the outlet that the parade has been tentatively planned for Sunday, and will "most likely" travel down A1A in Fort Lauderdale beach.
At least 200,000 people gathered to watch last year's parade, despite heavy rainfall.
The Panthers repeated as Stanley Cup champions by beating the Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the final on Tuesday night, becoming the NHL's first back-to-back winners since Tampa Bay in 2020 and '21 and the third team to do it this century.
