The collaboration is designed to rapidly advance the skills of junior tech talent and strengthen Flash Group's internal capabilities without adding pressure to its existing teams.
Flash Group, which operates with a large technical workforce, has long faced challenges in finding experienced tech professionals. According to Melissa Stemmers, Learning Development Manager at Flash Group, the company's recruitment analysis highlighted a strong supply of junior candidates but a significant gap in senior-level expertise. Competing with other organisations for scarce skilled talent has further complicated the hiring landscape.
To overcome these constraints, Flash Group opted to re-engage the junior talent pool and identify ways to accelerate their readiness for critical roles. redAcademy's Skills-Integration-as-a-Service SIaaS model offered a tailored solution by preparing junior developers through immersive, real-world training before they enter the workplace.
