Deputy Defence Minister Bantu Holomisa says to achieve lasting peace in countries ravaged by conflicts on Africa, reconciliation is key.
Holomisa was addressing the African Peace and Security Dialogue in Magaliesburg, west of Johannesburg.
The annual dialogue, which is hosted by the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, seeks to promote critical thinking and generate ideas on practical solutions to peace and security challenges on the continent.
