Real Madrid: Bellingham Red Overturned, Rudiger Gets Six-game Ban

Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger, has been handed a six-game ban for his red card in their 3-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.

However, his teammate Jude Bellingham has seen his sending off rescinded.

Rudiger, Bellingham, and Lucas Vazquez were all dismissed in extra time of the game, as they reacted angrily to referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxeas decision.

In his report, De Burgos said Rudiger had been sent off in the 120th minute for throwing an object from the technical area and had to be restrained by various members of the coaching staff, showing an aggressive attitude.

Vazquez, who had also already been withdrawn from the match, was dismissed for entering the field of play.
