Team India left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja outfoxed South Africa opener Aiden Markram with a peach on Day 4 Tuesday, November 24 of the second Test at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The veteran bowler knocked over the right-handed batter to give the team their second breakthrough in the innings.
South Africa began the day at 26/0 in their second innings with Ryan Rickelton and Aiden Markram at the crease. Jadeja provided the first wicket for the hosts by dismissing Rickelton, who scored 35 runs off 64 balls. The left-arm spinner picked up another wicket, leaving the Proteas at 74/2 in the second innings.
On the first ball of the 29th over, Ravindra Jadeja produced an unplayable delivery to remove Aiden Markram. The left-arm spinner pitched the ball full on middle, allowed it to grip and turn sharply away, and beat Markram's forward defence on the outside edge.
