Ramokgopa To Address G20 Energy Transitions Meeting

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa will be one of the main speakers at the second G20 Energy Transitions Working Group Meeting in Cape Town over the next three days.
The aim of this meeting is to bring together industry role players from across the world to collaborate on advancing sustainable energy transitions, fostering essential cooperation and knowledge sharing.
Key focus areas of recent G20 presidencies include Just Energy Transitions by Indonesia in 2022, Green Innovation and South-South Cooperation in 2023 by India.
During its presidency, South Africas priorities will include energy security and affordable, reliable access and just, affordable and inclusive energy transitions.
Ramokgopa will be the keynote speaker at the events, with the themes Role of Nuclear in Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency and Affordability .
