President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged African countries and the African Union to present a united front and push Africas priorities at the G20.
Speaking at a reception dinner for African Heads of State in Johannesburg on the eve of the first G20 Leadership Summit ever held on African soil, Ramaphosa said the moment must be used to advance the continents collective agenda.
As African countries, we therefore need to use the G20 to advance our agenda. South Africa correctly felt that we need to put the interests of our continent on the global platform. By harnessing our collective strengths, we do believe that we can continue to highlight the many issues that the African continent wants the world to address.
