President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the keynote address at the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa SIDSSA Conference in Cape Town today.
The gathering brings together key stakeholders, including government officials from various departments and private sector businesses to develop programmes for major infrastructure development in the country.
The symposium also aims to foster regional cooperation and integration for development on the African continent.
Yesterday, Gautrain Management Agency CEO Tshepo Kgobe led a panel discussion on Digital Infrastructure, where speakers explored how digital infrastructure drives innovation, connects societies, and supports inclusive global growth.
Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson says the country is preparing to showcase its infrastructure projects pipeline for the next 12 months, with over 200 projects in the pipeline.
