The Moroccan national carrier, an official global partner of CAF, says the promotional prices are designed to help as many fans as possible make the journey for what is expected to be one of the most attended AFCON editions in recent history.
Lower fares across key African routes
RAM has slashed prices by more than 50 across several major African capitals, displaying fares in Moroccan dirhams MAD alongside local currency equivalents to help supporters better assess the costs.

Fans advised to check AFCON dates before booking
The 2025 AFCON runs from 21 December to 18 January, a period that overlaps with Christmas and New Year travel peaks.
Supporters are being encouraged to verify:
their national teams group-stage match schedule,
their teams potential travel cities during the tournament,
and the exact days they plan to arrive and depart.
RAM officials say this is crucial to avoiding costly ticket changes, especially for fans whose teams may move between multiple host cities after the group stage.
Visa-free entry and more perks for travelling supporters
As if the discounted airfares were not enough, Morocco is also offering visa-free entry to all fans travelling for the tournament, removing one of the biggest barriers for African football supporters.
There are also strong indications that authorities will provide free or heavily subsidised transport within host cities, including shuttles on matchdays, helping fans move between stadiums, fan parks and hotels with ease.
Government officials have hinted at additional benefits, with further announcements expected in the coming weeks.
Morocco eyeing historic glory on home soil
Morocco is hosting the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 1988 and will be attempting to lift the trophy for the first time in 50 years, having last won it in 1976.
Their current squad widely regarded as a golden generation reached the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, becoming the first African team to do so. With stars such as Yassine Bounou, Achraf Hakimi, and several Europe-based regulars, many believe the Atlas Lions have the quality to challenge Cte dIvoire, the reigning champions.
A major boost to African travel as excitement builds
Royal Air Maroc says the fare reductions form part of a wider strategy to strengthen AfricaMorocco connectivity ahead of the event. The carrier has increased capacity on busy routes and deployed a modernised fleet to handle expected demand.
With thousands of fans expected to travel, the combination of cheaper flights, visa-free access and improved mobility inside Morocco has added to the growing excitement around a tournament that many predict could be one of the biggest AFCONs ever staged.
