Members of the Azanian Peoples Organisation Azapo have re-elected Nelvis Qekema as the organisations president with a total of 265 votes. His deputy is Dudu Shaba whose nomination went unopposed.
The organisationss incoming secretary general is Mbulelo Ketshe also unopposed.
Qekema told delegates that he is not the president of those who elected him but will lead the entire AZAPO in every corner of the country.
The 27th elective congress held at the Bon Hotel in Bloemfontein will come to a close on Sunday afternoon.
Giving a message of support during the last day of the elective congress, PAC chairperson, Apa Pooe, emphasised that the organisation has to be more ideologically sharpened and not confused if it is to lead society.
