Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has been encouraged by his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, after missing out on a win at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Following the announcement, Davido shared a message of faith on his X account, posting photos from the ceremony with the caption, "Oluwa Dey my side," meaning "God is on my side."
Governor Adeleke, who has consistently shown support for his nephew's music career, replied with a brief but supportive message, "Proud of you always davido."
