prosecutors decline to file charge against browns rb in fort lauderdale domestic violence case

Prosecutors have declined to file a misdemeanor battery charge against Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins following an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend last month, according to court records obtained by Local 10 News Thursday.

Judkins, 21, was accused of striking the woman during a July 7 car ride from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to their hotel. The two had resumed dating in June after previously living together in 2024.

The woman reported the alleged incident to police on July 12, saying Judkins hit and punched her during an argument that began over text messages from his family . Judkins, through his attorney, said the woman struck him first and that he acted in self-defense.
