Former Nigerian Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has called on Islamic financial institutions to take a leading role in driving the growth of the global digital economy. He stressed that the ethical principles of Islamic banking are perfectly aligned with the demands of todays rapidly evolving financial world.
Pantami delivered the keynote address at the Annual Conference of the Nigeria Muslim Forum UK NMFUK, speaking on the theme: Ethical Digital Economy: The Future of Community-Centred Islamic Digital Banking.
